Description
· Plan, forecast, and prepare the resources, materials, equipment, and supplies required to execute the service.
· Perform assigned services timely and properly.
· Provide technical and practical advisory support to customers for the services under responsibility.
· Coordinate on-site activities.
· Generate and/or compile the required on-site documentation folder to complete the service.
· Manage allocated resources for project execution, in coordination with the Service Manager and Project Manager.
· Collect necessary signatures for deliverable documents.
· Submit deliverable documents to the Project Manager and/or Service Manager.
· Verify operation of protection schemes according to checklists.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform and/or review DEI programming based on schematic diagrams and/or customer-provided information.
· Conduct tests on operational characteristics according to DEI protection functions.
· Perform and/or review on-site engineering of protection schemes.
· Review and interpret calculation reports for parameterizing required DEIs.
· Provide feedback on engineering documents when necessary.
· Commission protection schemes and/or protective relays.
· Deliver training when required.
· Contribute to achieving the organization’s vision through performance of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Promote application of corporate philosophy, teamwork, and professionalism
· **Mandatory:** Foundational knowledge of power electrical systems.
· **Mandatory:** Proficiency with relay software for at least the following manufacturers: Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), SIEMENS.
· **Mandatory:** Ability to analyze oscillography data for commissioning and test reports for commissioning.
· **Mandatory:** Basic knowledge of Protection Coordination and Short-Circuit Calculations.
· **Mandatory:** Intermediate-level Office software proficiency.
· **Mandatory:** Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks software.
· Knowledge of CFE regulations for Electrical Protection Schemes and Electrical Protection Setting Calculations.
· **Mandatory:** Valid passport.
· Reside in Guatemala to support projects in Central America; alternatively, willingness to travel to Guatemala for periods of 2–3 months.
· **Mandatory:** Ability to operate a standard/automatic car or pickup truck.
Salary: $25,000\.00 \- $260,000\.00 per month
