**Release Certification Manager \- Android** **Experience:** 12\+ Years **Role:** QA Manager / Release Governance You will manage the complex release trains for Android, navigating the fragmentation of the ecosystem. You will ensure that every staged rollout is monitored for stability and that our users receive a flawless experience. **What You'll Do** * **Release Strategy:** Plan and execute the release calendar, coordinating code freezes and release branches across multiple teams. * **Play Store Ops:** Manage the Google Play Console; oversee **staged rollouts** (1% \-\> 5% \-\> 100%), monitor **Android Vitals** (ANR rates, crash rates), and react to anomalies. * **Quality Leadership:** Lead a team of QA engineers, establishing best practices for exploratory testing and regression planning. * **Compliance:** Ensure all releases comply with Google Play policies (permissions, target API levels) to prevent rejections or takedowns. * **Risk Mgmt:** Facilitate "War Rooms" for critical bugs and manage the hotfix lifecycle with precision and urgency. **What You'll Bring** * **Experience:** 12\+ years in Quality Assurance and Release Management. * **Platform Knowledge:** Expert knowledge of the **Google Play Console** , release tracks (Alpha/Beta/Prod), and phased rollouts. * **Metrics:** Deep understanding of **Android Vitals** and how to interpret technical health metrics. * **Leadership:** Strong people management skills with experience mentoring senior QA talent. * **Communication:** Excellent ability to distill complex technical risks into business\-impacting decisions for executives.
