**Job Opening: Workshop Manager** **Location:** San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas **Start Date:** Immediate **Position Objective:** Ensure optimal operation of the workshop and the company’s vehicle fleet by coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gasoline and diesel vehicles. * Supervise and lead workshop staff (2 mechanics and 2 assistants). * Conduct mechanical diagnostics and validate vehicle logbooks and checklists. * Manage parts orders, tracking, and installation. * Monitor and verify completed work. * Use automotive diagnostic scanners and tools. **Requirements:** * Education: Degree in Automotive Mechanics Engineering (flexible if extensive experience is demonstrated). * Experience: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in automotive mechanics (gasoline and diesel). * Solid knowledge of general mechanics and diagnostics. * Proficiency in PC use and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). * Valid driver’s license (Class B or higher). * Flexible availability for shift scheduling. **Key Competencies:** * Leadership and personnel management. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving. * Planning and organization. * Decision-making. * Teamwork and results orientation. **Work Schedule:** * Monday to Saturday, 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexible intervals for breakfast at home and lunch. * Sunday off. * Schedule flexibility as required by operational needs. **Salary and Benefits:** * Salary: **MXN $12,500 gross per month**. * Statutory benefits from day one (IMSS, INFONAVIT, year-end bonus, vacation time, vacation premium, FONACOT, and PTU as stipulated by law). **We Offer:** * Job stability. * Training and onboarding support upon hiring. * Opportunities for internal career growth.
