Robotics Programmer

Position Summary: We are seeking a Robotics Programmer to assist in maintaining robotic welding cells, develop and improve robot programs, and collaborate on equipment diagnosis and repair. Collaboration in equipment diagnosis and repair **Robotics Programmer** **Location: Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico** **Responsibilities:** * Assist in maintaining robotic welding cells, including but not limited to: robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, welding torches, and part fixturing * Develop and maintain robot programs for our current robotic processes. * Develop robot programs for new part models. * Perform backups of all programs and document all changes; maintain and control revision file archives. * Train cobot technicians to enhance their knowledge and skills in robot programming. * Collaborate with welding technicians to foster strong teamwork habits. * Implement modifications and improvements to our PLC and HMI programs. * Work closely with robotics supervisors and managers to schedule projects and manage production workloads. * Implement improvements to existing robotic programs. * Collaborate in equipment diagnosis, troubleshooting, testing, and repair. **Requirements:** * Practical experience in robot programming and simulation using Yaskawa and MOTOSIM. * Certified training in Yaskawa. * Experience with Yaskawa Touch Sense, using wire or laser. * Experience with robotic welding applications and equipment. * Experience in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming. * Understanding of robotic I/O and interaction with PLCs. * Experience in programming/practice with Yaskawa ComArc and/or AccuFast, Yaskawa macros, ABB RobotStudio, and ABB Dynamic. * Training in ABB. * Solid knowledge of mathematics and/or computer programming, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Technical or professional degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field. * Five years of robotics experience in manufacturing environments, preferably metalworking. * English language proficiency.
