Job Summary: The GSOC CCTV Operator monitors camera and alarm systems, identifies incidents, and coordinates responses to safeguard the company’s security, employees, and reputation. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) CCTV Operator is responsible for applying best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that may impact the business, employees, and/or the company’s reputation. Their role includes continuous monitoring of surveillance camera (CCTV) and alarm systems across facilities, ensuring site and personnel safety. Additionally, the operator communicates via radio with security and physical protection teams, operates access control systems, and supports the organization of company lost-and-found items. The operator must attentively observe real-time video feeds, identifying suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, or any other critical incident. Such events must be properly logged and reported to the area leader, collaborating with physical security teams to ensure rapid and effective emergency response. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential for this position. The monitoring operator serves as an additional operational arm of physical security and must maintain constant communication with the security patrol team. Functions and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Monitoring alarms and video equipment, including fire alarms, door alarms, and intrusion alarms, as well as providing general assistance to employees and visitors. * Activating the client’s Facilities & Safety teams and/or incident and emergency response teams—such as police, fire departments, and emergency medical services—as needed, via telephone and/or radio. * Maintaining records of communications and events. * Transmitting information to partners using established communication channels, always adhering to best practices. * Providing real-time updates on unusual or critical events to the GSOC Operations Leader. * Reporting to the GSOC Coordinator any missing, damaged, or non-operational equipment, media, alarms, CCTV systems, or other systems; performing ongoing testing and maintaining up-to-date equipment status tracking. * Proactively monitoring all surveillance cameras and remote viewing software. * Logging and reporting security incidents per established protocols. * Supporting image recovery for internal investigations or legal requests. * Monitoring coverage and positioning of security patrol posts and reporting to the relevant leader. * Tracking and responding to tickets submitted via the “Ask People” platform. * Managing the lost-and-found process at the São Paulo offices. * Organizing and printing credentials for new employees and duplicates. * Managing and responding to tickets related to physical access requests and approvals. * Opening and tracking maintenance tickets with vendors. **Requirements** Minimum Mandatory Requirements: * Completed high school education (technical training, higher education, or courses in electronic security are a plus). * Problem-solving ability. * Ability to multitask and identify patterns in details. * Attention to detail and observational skills. * Proficiency in operating surveillance systems, email, and corporate applications. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * English language proficiency is desirable. * Prior experience as a CCTV Operator or in security environments is desirable. * Familiarity with video surveillance systems.
