Key Knowledge Areas * **AWS Fundamentals:** Understanding of essential services such as S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS global architecture. * **Lambda Function Development:** Ability to write, debug, and deploy code in multiple supported languages (preferably Python). * **Serverless Architecture:** Proficiency in patterns such as micro-segmentation, synchronous and asynchronous invocations, and use of services like API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, and S3 as triggers. Operational and Security Skills * **Identity and Access Management (IAM):** Advanced knowledge of IAM policies, execution roles, and the principle of least privilege for Lambda functions. * **CI/CD Tool Integration:** Experience with tools to automate deployments. * **Serverless Environment Security:** Understanding of specific risks and use of solutions such as AWS CloudTrail, CloudGuard, or static code scanning. * **Monitoring and Troubleshooting:** Proficiency with CloudWatch Logs and X-Ray for error tracing, execution timing, and diagnosis of *cold starts*.
