Safety Technician

Description

Company with over 20 years of experience dedicated to **Engineering, Maintenance, Machining, Assembly, and Industrial Services.** Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. * No scheduling or commuting issues (home\-worksite and vice versa). * Preferably owns personal transportation (car or motorcycle). Responsibilities: * Supervise the implementation and compliance with company safety policies and procedures. * Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are taken. * Advise and train staff on safe work practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), checklists, JSA (Job Safety Analysis), etc. * Investigate and analyze occupational incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions. * Stay up-to-date with occupational health and safety laws and regulations, ensuring the company complies with all applicable standards. * Collaborate with other departments to promote a safety culture and encourage active employee participation in continuous workplace safety improvement. * Prepare periodic reports on the company’s safety performance and present recommendations for implementing improvements. * Five-minute safety talks. Knowledge and skills in: * Prior experience as a safety supervisor/technician or in a similar role, preferably in industrial or construction environments. * In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and regulations. * Certifications or training in first aid, working at heights, hot work, and confined space entry. * Strong leadership skills and ability to make rapid, effective decisions during emergencies. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. * Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident analyses. * Knowledge of best practices related to workplace safety. * High ethical and integrity standards. Schedule: * Monday to Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. We offer: * Weekly pay. * Grocery vouchers. * $10,000\.00 to $16,000\.00 gross monthly. Position type: Full-time.
