Job Purpose: We seek an analytical and detail-oriented Traffic Assistant profile; you will serve as the gatekeeper to ensure imported goods comply with regulations, thereby preventing customs clearance delays through well-defined coordination with suppliers and carriers. Key Responsibilities: * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (NTRRs). * Document Audit: Review of files: Certificates of Origin, prior notices, notifications, and permits. * Logistics Management: Direct coordination with customs agents, carriers, and foreign suppliers. * Incident Control: Timely tracking of delays, losses, or damage to goods. Required Profile: * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, Import Operations, Logistics, or related field. * Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the Customs Law and General Foreign Trade Rules (GFTRs) (Preferred). * Operational Experience: Experience handling customs clearance processes and documentation (Preferred). * Tools: Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate–Advanced level) is mandatory for reporting and control. * Skills: Critical analytical ability, problem-solving under pressure, and excellent effective communication.
