Description
**Purpose**: Ensure the proper operation of facility maintenance areas, animal treatments, livestock handling, and processing according to the scheduled work plan.
**Responsibilities**:
Process:
Receive and load livestock; inspect and vaccinate newly received livestock according to established procedures; process livestock as required.
Maintenance and cleaning:
Maintain facilities and equipment in good working condition; clean water troughs according to the cleaning schedule; repair water leaks; collect dead animals; report anomalies; perform daily cleaning of work areas (traps, etc.).
Horses:
Saddle and feed horses.
Treatments:
Inspect corrals; identify and separate sick livestock; relocate recovered livestock; conduct medication inventory; submit treatment reports in the system.
Others:
Support other departments and activities; conduct monthly inventory of work tools.
**Reports to**: Corral Supervisor.
**Experience**: Interest in working with animals and outdoor work.
**Skills and competencies**
**Technical**: General knowledge of livestock handling and/or willingness to learn; basic arithmetic; basic computer, tablet, or mobile device usage; ability to drive standard vehicles.

**Cross-functional**: Basic knowledge of mechanics and welding; horseback riding; animal health; tractor operation.

Salary: $12,000.00 - $14,000.00 per month
