




Job Summary: An Electrical Project Engineer will lead and oversee engineering activities for a concurrent project portfolio, from conceptual design through to on-site support. Key Highlights: 1. A leading energy solutions company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead and oversee electrical project engineering across a concurrent portfolio (5–20 projects), from conceptual design through detailed documentation and on-site support. Hiring will be based on competencies, experience, and technical alignment with the role, without discrimination on grounds protected by law. Responsibilities * Lead conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for photovoltaic, BESS, and hybrid (PV + BESS) systems. * Develop and manage electrical drawings in **AutoCAD Electrical** (single-line diagrams, routing, switchboards, protection devices). * Coordinate technically with architecture/civil works, procurement, and operations to integrate design. * Prepare and manage **technical specifications**, design criteria, specifications, and deliverables. * Generate and manage **Bill of Materials (BOM)** and **Balance of System / System Component List (BOS)**. * Provide technical support for equipment selection: inverters, protection devices, switchboards, conduits, grounding, and related components. * Support electrical studies and calculations (voltage drop, protection coordination, short-circuit analysis, etc.). * Review third-party engineering and provide technical clarifications to clients (engineering level). * Occasional site visits for surveys, technical supervision, testing, and commissioning (project-dependent). Requirements * Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering or related field (graduated or nearing graduation). * Experience: **1–3 years** in electrical projects (design, engineering, construction, or MEP). * Operational proficiency in **AutoCAD Electrical**. * Knowledge of three-phase systems, protection devices, and single-line diagrams. * Intermediate Excel. * **Preferred:** PVsyst, Revit/BIM, ETAP or similar. * Availability for occasional travel. Regulations / Technical Criteria * NOM-001-SEDE. * Applicable UL / IEC standards. * Grid Code (where applicable). * CFE technical criteria and interconnection requirements (where applicable). Certifications (Preferred) * RED CONOCER EC-0586.01 (Photovoltaic System Installation). * RED CONOCER EC-1181 (Supervision/Verification of Photovoltaic System Installation). * Working at Heights (valid course/certification). Conditions * Primarily office-based work with occasional field visits. * Concurrent portfolio: 5–20 projects (5 kW to 2 MW, depending on phase). * Per diems included for technical visits.
