A company with over 7 years of experience in the construction field, undergoing constant growth, is seeking a **Structural Fabrication Resident** for civil and industrial projects, specifically for the construction of industrial warehouses. **Requirements:** * Civil Engineer (degree and professional license) * Minimum 4 years of experience in similar positions within structural steel fabrication. * Willingness to travel to job sites as required. * **No issue working in Contla de Juan Cuamatzi.** **Knowledge:** * Blueprint interpretation. * Extensive knowledge of various steel profiles. * Welding techniques. * Cutting techniques. * Lifting and rigging operations. * Work planning and organization. * Quality control. * Basic safety and hygiene. **Skills:** * Effective communication. * Adaptability and flexibility. * Leadership and teamwork. **Responsibilities:** * Interpret blueprints and specifications to fabricate structures required for each project. * Prepare shop drawings. * Plan and organize the fabrication process. * Supervise that all work performed meets the quality standards demanded by the project and client. * Supervise lifting and rigging operations of structural components. * Collaborate with departments, site supervisors, superintendents, and project managers regarding specifications for each structure. **Activities:** * Analyze and understand structural drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure all parts are fabricated according to design requirements. * Establish an activity schedule for part fabrication, ensuring optimal use of time and resources. * Procure materials and supplies in advance for upcoming tasks. * Conduct quality inspections supported by laboratory testing using liquid penetrant methods to ensure each cut part complies with required specifications and tolerances. * Review and verify information with lathe personnel or suppliers regarding structural connections. * For each structural shipment, prepare a detailed list including quantities, dimensions, and weights of components for delivery to the final destination. * Verify the condition of cutting tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly calibrated and ready for use. * Request materials on time to prevent shortages and verify their quality upon receipt.
