




Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Histotechnologist/QBP for a pathology laboratory to supervise safety standards, operate equipment, and carry out histopathological procedures. Performing histotechnologist assistant duties and preparing reagents **EDUCATION:** Histotechnologist Technician QBP (Proven experience in a pathology laboratory) Schedule: Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00 and Saturday 09:00–14:00 **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE IN:** · Operation of various laboratory equipment. · Sample receipt and collection. · Archiving of pathology specimens. · Specimen embedding. · Prior experience in a pathology laboratory. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise compliance with laboratory personnel safety standards. * Adhere to hospital policies and regulations. * Ensure timely delivery of glass slides and requests to assigned pathologists. * Report incidents and adverse events to the appropriate authority. * Be accountable for fixed assets and assigned equipment. * Verify inventory of supplies, reagents, solutions, and glassware, and requisition missing items. * Ensure equipment is in good working condition and notify immediate supervisor when corrective maintenance is required. * Perform histotechnologist assistant duties, including retrieving tissues from the tissue processor, paraffin sectioning, cooling sections, microtome sectioning, deparaffinizing slides, and separating slides according to required processing steps. * Deliver slides in proper order for histopathological reading and diagnosis. * Prepare reagents and solutions for the tissue processor and staining solutions. **BENEFITS:** * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Free parking * Life insurance * Discounted cafeteria service * Complimentary uniforms * 30-day year-end bonus * 35% vacation bonus Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Up to $14,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
