Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Rol Definition:** This role provides the technical and methodological expertise needed to design, develop, and implement the new comprehensive training strategy for ICD Mexico. It leads process standardization, training model design, learning infrastructure development, integration of new technologies, and the assurance of quality and safety across all training programs. The key focus of the role is to lead the transformation project of the training system, which will enhance operational, technical, and learning capabilities within ICD Mexico, aligned with corporate objectives, global standards, and business needs.. **What will you do:** * Lead the creation of the ICD Mexico Training Model, including competencies, development paths, certifications, and evaluation criteria. * Map current and future processes of the area to ensure the strategy supports plant operations and growth. * Align training content, methodology, and structure with Caterpillar’s global training standards. * Develop the project master plan, including phases, timelines, deliverables, costs, and resources. * Monitor key milestones using project management tools such as Gantt, PERT, and progress reports. * Define requirements for classrooms, labs, practical stations, simulators, or any necessary equipment. * Evaluate current learning processes to introduce improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles. * Identify opportunities to apply digital tools, process automation (RPA), or learning platforms that optimize training. * Propose innovative solutions for hands‑on training, simulations, assessments, and documentation. * Assess risks associated with training practices and equipment to ensure controlled and safe environments.. **Education Requirement:** Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Organizational Development, or a related field Advanced English **Skill Descriptors:** **Project Management – Training Strategy** * Plans and coordinates project phases. * Generates reports and manages risks related to time, scope, and resources. **Decision Making \& Critical Thinking** * Organizes information, evaluates alternatives, and proposes viable solutions for the design of the training model**.** **Lean Manufacturing Applied to Training** * Implements Lean concepts to optimize learning flows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency in the certification process**.** **Manufacturing Processes (Assembly, Paint, Welding, Machining)** * Understands key processes to ensure the training strategy properly prepares operators for real operations at ICD Mexico**.** **Problem Solving** * Applies tools such as root cause analysis, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa, and other techniques to resolve training‑process issues**.** **Automation Technologies and RPA** * Evaluates opportunities to automate reports, records, certifications, or repetitive activities within the training system**.** **Additional Information:** * Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León. * Relocation not available * Critical role within the ICD Mexico strategic project. * Requires high interaction with multiple areas and plant leaders. * May include participation in pilots, proof‑of‑concept activities, and material validation * Travel 10% to 20% **Final details** **Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
