Our industrial expertise enables us to meet the needs of a broad range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, industrial and domestic equipment, as well as electrical and electronics.*Your future role Reporting to the Production Superintendent and Production Manager, you will join the production department. As part of this team, you will be responsible for: * Conducting the shift start-up meeting with production inspectors under your supervision to assign machines for operation. * Coordinating support teams to resolve production-related issues. * Managing molding machines ranging from 55 to 770 tons. * Directly supervising 25 to 35 operational-level personnel. * Providing your team with necessary tools, materials, and training. * Reporting shift start-up information to the Production Superintendent, including the number of inspectors on duty, absences, and updates on priorities, urgent production requirements, and tasks to be performed during the shift. * Printing material movement labels (Move Tickets). * Coordinating activities for production start-up. * Performing work order closing activities. * Coordinating staff meal and break times. * Ensuring use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices by all personnel in production areas, in accordance with Dress Code, Ethics Code, Internal Work Regulations, Federal Labor Law (LFT), etc. * Maintaining staff discipline. * Conducting performance evaluations of Production Inspectors for leveling, upon request from Human Resources. * Reporting any issues obstructing production performance to the Production Superintendent. * Properly operating production- and personnel-related systems. * Reporting unsafe conditions. * Ensuring scrap reporting per machine at the end of each shift. * Handing over the shift to the incoming Line Supervisor. * Halting any processes failing to meet product requirements and initiating corrective actions per internal procedures. Your profile This position is located in Chihuahua, Chih., Mexico. **Job Profile** * Bachelor’s degree * 1 year of experience in a similar position or 2 years of tenure within the company with supervisory responsibilities. * Experience in plastic injection processes (preferred). * Computer/Office software proficiency. * ERP system experience (IQMS preferred) * Knowledge of production index calculations (OEE, BTS, FTT, etc.) * Basic knowledge of injection molding and extrusion\-blow) processes. * Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM, TPM, SMED, A3, etc.) If you identify with this posting, wish to develop your career at Clayens, and seek a challenge, do not hesitate to submit your application!
