




Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring quality and regulatory compliance in manufacturing processes, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and supporting integrated management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure compliance with current regulations for products and processes 2. Coordinate quality actions and product traceability 3. Promote continuous improvements in manufacturing processes **1. General Responsibilities** 1.1 Immediately report any irregularities arising during job performance to the immediate supervisor. 1.2 Daily compliance with the Integrated Management Policy (Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental). 1.3 Daily compliance with uniform requirements. 1.4 Compliance with training programs and successful completion of such courses as required by the company. 1.5 Support implementation, maintenance, and updating of the Integrated Management System for Food Safety across all manufacturing forms. 1.6 Ensure and validate closure of corrective and preventive actions. 1.7 Propose and promote improvement actions for manufacturing-related processes. 1.8 Coordinate customer complaint handling, product traceability, and/or product recalls. 1.9 Ensure reporting of activities to respective management teams. 1.10 Ensure compliance with applicable current regulations for products and processes (e.g., Profeco, Sagarpa, Semarnat). 1.11 Responsible for Good Laboratory Practices (order and cleanliness). **2. Quality Assurance** 2.1 Ensure operation of the Control Plan and/or Quality Plan. 2.2 Coordinate compliance with quality control inspection programs for raw material receipts and manufacturing processes, determining acceptance or rejection; performing physical-chemical, rheological, and microbiological tests on finished products. 2.3 Develop and ensure timely and proper implementation of calibration programs for measurement and testing equipment. 2.4 Execute SAP transactions for: blocking, releasing, reclassifying, scrapping, and transferring raw materials, packaging materials, or finished products that fail to meet quality or food safety specifications. 2.5 Validate redesigns and development of new products and packaging materials. 2.6 Coordinate with the plant veterinarian to implement corresponding legal requirements, in coordination with the designated verifier. 2.7 Ensure operation of the non-conforming product procedure. 2.8 Ensure operation of the procedure for storing samples of raw materials, finished products, and relevant ingredients. 2.9 Ensure manufactured products comply with specifications and reject non-compliance, halting production when necessary. 2.10 Supervise the first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedure in the finished goods warehouse. **3. Manufacturing** 3.1 Review laboratory test results for flours and wheat and deliver findings to Manufacturing Management for decision-making regarding detected deviations. 3.2 Ensure the production process complies with specifications for manufactured products, taking acceptance or rejection actions (wheat flour, pasta, cereals, and animal feed). 3.3 Support specification adjustments for products. **4. Procurement** 4.1 Validate and support compliance with specifications for macro-ingredients and micro-ingredients. 4.2 Support and, where applicable, validate procurement of laboratory equipment, spare parts, and operational materials. **5. Human Resources** 5.1 Report to Manufacturing Management and Human Resources any situations posing risks to personnel safety, facilities, or equipment. 5.2 Ensure training and competence of personnel under supervision. 5.3 Provide training on the Food Safety Management System and regulatory standards (ISO 9000 / ISO 22000) to newly hired staff. 5.4 Support implementation of the training program covering quality, ISO standards, and manufacturing operational systems. **6. Sanitation** 6.1 Report food safety risks related to processes and products to the Sanitation or Manufacturing responsible person. 6.2 Participate in general plant fumigation activities. **7. Integrated Management Systems** 7.1 (As applicable) Keep Management of Management Systems and Manufacturing informed on all matters concerning the effectiveness of the Food Safety Management System and ISO regulatory standards. 7.2 Coordinate work meetings to analyze Integrated Management System (IMS) performance through indicators and implemented actions across various processes, generating corrective and preventive actions. 7.3 Responsible for coordinating and maintaining effective DOCUMENT CONTROL of Management Systems in accordance with current regulations. 7.4 (As applicable) Inform the Quality Committee of situations jeopardizing the IMS. 7.5 Coordinate internal and external audit programs through full resolution of resulting findings.
