Job Summary:
Supervises and coordinates customs operations, logistics, and regulatory compliance to ensure supply chain efficiency.

**Knowledge:**
· General knowledge of the Foreign Trade Law, Customs Law, LIVA, TIGIE 2026, PROSEC, IMMEX, CIVA, OEA.
· Proficiency in VUCEM
· Annex 30
· Annex 24
· Tariff classification of goods, machinery, and equipment
· Knowledge of transportation:
· **Land:** Cross-border crossings, Domestic USA, National, inbon Mexico\-USA–Canada.
· **Maritime:** Asia\-Mexico, Asia–USA\-Mexico.
· U.S. Customs: HTS, reciprocal tariffs, EEPA, Section 301, Section 232, U.S. reconciliation, monthly ACH duty payments, ACE portal reports.
**Responsibilities:**
Plan the customs operation cycle for each finished product with subordinates, including:
· Preparation of BOMs for all part numbers of each product
· Cost calculations
· Certificates of Origin
· Strict tracking of container logistics carrying goods to production plants to ensure timely material arrival.
· Supervise team performance of export unloading, material validity management, prevention of pedimento expiration, and regime changes.
· Reconcile machinery and equipment against pedimentos and fixed assets recorded by the Finance Department, ensuring proper labeling for annual inventory.
· Supervise correct implementation of Annex 24 by the team.
· Conduct monthly Annex 24 audits to identify discrepancies against the monthly GLOSA/DATASTAGE report.
· Conduct monthly physical inventory audits against Annex 24 and Annex 30 balances, and obsolete material control with the Materials Department.
· Upload monthly Annex 30 discharge records; maintain control over the IVA credit account balance.
· Supervise timely and accurate closure of consolidated pedimentos (review settlement statements) with the team.
· Supervise proper maintenance of physical and electronic files of pedimentos and their annexes.
· Create and maintain a documentary archive compliant with legal requirements.
· Track transportation expenses (land, maritime) and customs brokerage fees.
**Skills:**
· Ability to work under pressure with quick, assertive responses.
· Logistics cost calculations – market cost analysis
· Calculation of duties and taxes for U.S. and Mexican customs.
· Excellent interdepartmental communication, and effective collaboration with logistics providers and customs brokers in Mexico and the United States.
· Strong coordination and problem-solving skills related to supply chain and customs operations, including:
o Coordination of material import/export with freight forwarders, brokers, and customs agencies.
o Efficiency in cross-border transportation operations, expo/impo documentation processes, inbon procedures, and container imports via Ensenada and Long Beach.
· Proficiency in Excel databases for monitoring and analyzing Annex 24, Annex 30, and SAP balances.
