Serve as a strategic liaison between the base and corporate headquarters, ensuring timely generation of key information, resolution of incidents, and effective execution of agreements. **Expanded Responsibilities and Functions** **1\. Integrated Management of the Operational Base:** * Supervise the base’s daily operations, ensuring 24/7 continuity and compliance with corporate standards. * Coordinate and respond immediately to operational contingencies, such as infrastructure failures, accidents, or labor crises. * Maintain constant communication with corporate headquarters and other key departments to support timely decision-making. * Represent the base administratively before local authorities, inspections, audits, and external visits. * Coordinate the management of licenses, permits, and certifications required for the base’s legal operation. * Supervise physical security, access control, asset custody, and facility protection. **2\. Financial Administration and Control:** * Manage local budgets, operational payments, and vendors, ensuring compliance with corporate policies. * Validate, reconcile, and supervise per diems, travel expenses, and expense reports submitted by operational and administrative staff. * Coordinate the selection, contracting, and monitoring of local vendors for maintenance, cleaning, and security services. * Safeguard administrative, accounting, and legal documentation, ensuring digitization, physical storage, and secure transmission to corporate headquarters. **3\. Human Capital and Labor Relations:** * Coordinate the recording of personnel incidents (attendance, bonuses, leave, disabilities) and consolidate data for payroll processing. * Supervise operational and administrative staff, managing performance, conduct, disciplinary matters, and workplace climate issues. * Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all new hires receive orientation, work tools, and appropriate workspace. * Manage inventories of supplies, uniforms, and personal protective equipment; monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking. **4\. Infrastructure, Auditing, and Continuous Improvement:** * Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for facilities, yards, offices, and equipment. * Prepare for and attend internal and external audits; follow up on observations and close corrective actions. * Verify compliance with internal policies and procedures using checklists, identifying improvement opportunities. * Analyze local processes, identify efficiency opportunities, and coordinate with corporate headquarters to implement improvements. * Consolidate key operational, risk, and results metrics, generating executive reports to support strategic decision-making. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Industrial Relations, or related field. * Minimum of **6 to 9 years** of experience in operations and administration of bases, branches, or business units, with at least 3 years in leadership/management roles. * Advanced Spanish; intermediate-to-advanced English is desirable. * Proficiency in Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint), payroll/pre-payroll systems, ERP platforms, and document management systems; corporate communication tools. * Valid driver’s license; tractor-trailer driving experience is a plus. **Key Competencies:** * Leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills, customer orientation, effective communication. * Proactivity, adaptability, autonomy, commitment to quality and continuous improvement. * Capacity for learning and collaborative work.
