




Job Description and Responsibilities **Position Summary** The Test Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing test strategies and systems to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of electronic boards (PCBs). This role is critical for early fault detection, hardware performance validation, and ensuring that products meet technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements prior to release into production or shipment. **Test Development and Design** * Design test plans for electronic boards, considering electrical, functional, and safety requirements. * Create and maintain test procedures for ICT (In-Circuit Test), FCT (Functional Test), and validation testing. * Develop fixtures, interfaces, and test solutions (hardware and software). * Program and automate tests using Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or other scripting languages. * Define measurement limits, critical parameters, and acceptance/rejection criteria. **Execution and Analysis** * Perform electrical and functional tests on prototypes and production units. * Analyze results, identify failures, document non-conformities, and conduct root cause analysis. * Support SMT lines in troubleshooting issues related to AOI, ICT, FCT, or reflow defects. * Validate engineering changes, firmware updates, and design revisions. **Instrumentation and Measurement Equipment** * Operate and configure instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, programmable power supplies, and logic analyzers. * Document calibrations and ensure availability of test equipment. **Documentation and Reporting** * Prepare technical reports, failure statistics, trend analyses, and recommendations. * Maintain up-to-date documentation of test procedures, limits, and software versions.
