




Position Summary: Manage the property’s financial health by integrating revenue streams and fulfilling hospitality-sector tax obligations. Key Highlights: 1. Crucial experience in hotel accounting and property management systems 2. Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and advanced Excel 3. Key responsibility for revenue auditing and monthly closings Manage the property’s financial health, ensuring accurate consolidation of revenue from all points of consumption and compliance with sector-specific tax obligations. 1. Academic Requirements and Experience * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Degree and Professional License mandatory). * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years in **hotel accounting** (this requirement is critical due to property system handling). * **Tax Knowledge:** Up-to-date knowledge of Income Tax (ISR) and VAT (IVA) regulations, and proficiency in the **Lodging Tax (ISH)**. 2. Technical Competencies (Hardware & Software) * **Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS):** Proficiency in platforms such as **Opera, SAP, Oracle Hospitality, or proprietary PMS**. * **Interfaces:** Experience integrating front-office systems with accounting software (e.g., Contpaqi, SAE). * **Advanced Excel:** Proficiency in pivot tables, macros, and financial models for occupancy reporting. * **Cost Accounting:** Ability to conduct Food & Beverage (F&B) cost audits. 3. Key Responsibilities * **Revenue Auditing:** Supervise the “Night Audit” cash reconciliation and ensure revenue alignment across all departments. * **Fixed Asset Control:** Manage inventories of linens, furniture, and kitchen equipment. * **Payroll Management:** Calculate payroll with variable components (sales commissions, tips, overtime shifts). * **Monthly Closings:** Prepare financial statements and comparative analyses against the **Budget**. * **Accounts Receivable:** Manage agreements with travel agencies (OTAs) and corporate clients with direct credit terms. 4. Soft Skills * **Critical Analysis:** Ability to identify revenue leakage in daily operations. * **Ethics and Integrity:** Handling of high-volume cash and valuables. * **Interdepartmental Communication:** Ability to collaborate closely with the General Manager and Procurement Head.
