Become a maker of possible with us! **Job Responsibilities: (Functions, Tasks and/or Primary Authorities)**  Manufactures machine parts, tools, and manufacturing aids based on dimensioned drawings or sample parts.  Builds mechanisms as directed by Supervisor.  Repairs machine parts, dies, and devices.  Collaborates with Mechanics in repairing machinery and equipment.  Performs all activities assigned by Supervisor.  Maintains shop machines and tools.  Assists the Engineering Department in designing and selecting materials for manufacturing parts, dies, and devices.  Participates in general training programs.  Provides training to other machinists and mechanics.  Participates in selecting materials, shapes, and finishes that improve parts to be repaired or manufactured. **Education and Experience:** Mechanical Technician (Tool Machinist), Electronic Technician, or equivalent experience preferred. Operation and handling of grinding machines, milling machines, lathes, drills, band saws, grinders, belt sanders, electric welding, and gas welding preferred.
