Participates in strategic planning and talent management. **Job Profile: Junior Operations Manager** --------------------------------------------------- **Department:** Operations / Logistics **Reports to:** Operations Manager **Position Type:** Full-time ### **Job Objective** Ensure proper execution, control, and profitability of logistics operations, guaranteeing that all areas — warehouse, distribution, field, and administration — operate under established standards for cost, efficiency, and indicator compliance. The Junior Manager directly supervises **route, field, warehouse, and administrative supervisors**, and is responsible for planning, supervision, and continuous improvement of the operational and financial processes supporting the overall functioning of the distribution center. ### **Main Responsibilities** **Operational Management and Control** * Supervise overall operational performance, ensuring compliance with receiving, storage, picking, distribution, settlements, and administrative control processes. * Coordinate and monitor operational teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives. * Ensure compliance with company-established safety, quality, and productivity standards. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area and ensure achievement according to defined targets. **Cost Control and Optimization** * Supervise and validate operational expenses across all areas under supervision (transportation, warehouse, field, settlements, etc.). * Analyze budget variances and establish corrective action plans. * Implement operational efficiency strategies to reduce costs without compromising service quality. * Validate operational financial reports in coordination with the Finance Department. **Operational Planning and Strategy** * Participate in operational planning alongside Management and other strategic departments. * Propose process, resource, and organizational structure improvements to increase productivity. * Coordinate continuous improvement and process automation projects. * Ensure correct communication and implementation of corporate policies within the operational team. **People Management** * Lead route, field, and warehouse supervisors, ensuring proper coordination and goal attainment. * Promote a disciplined, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment. * Evaluate performance, plan staffing needs, and foster internal talent development. * Ensure compliance with safety, attendance, and conduct guidelines. **Administrative Control and Reporting** * Supervise accurate integration of operational and administrative information (settlements, incidents, reports, expenses, inventories) and report to . * Consolidate and present weekly or monthly performance results to the Operations Management team. * Guarantee information traceability and compliance with internal or external audits. ### **Required Knowledge** * Comprehensive logistics processes: receiving, storage, distribution, transportation, and administrative control. * Operational cost analysis and budgetary control. * Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): productivity, efficiency, on-time delivery, shrinkage, and cycle times. * Leadership of multidisciplinary teams and supervisor management. * Advanced Excel proficiency, control dashboards, and ERP or WMS systems. * Knowledge of industrial safety, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices. ### **Skills and Competencies** * Strategic leadership and decision-making. * Operational planning and organization. * Analytical thinking and results orientation. * Negotiation and problem-solving ability. * Effective communication across all hierarchical levels. * Cost-control orientation and commitment to continuous improvement. * Sense of urgency, discipline, and accountability. ### **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in **Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related fields**. * Preferred specialization or diploma in **Operations Management, Operational Finance, or Supply Chain Management**. ### **Experience** * Minimum **5 years of experience** in leadership roles within the **logistics, distribution, or transportation sector**. * Proven experience in **operational cost management, team leadership, and KPI compliance**. * Prior experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), distribution, or third-party logistics (3PL) companies is desirable. **WE OFFER:** * Gross monthly salary * Bi-weekly payment * Gross monthly performance bonus * Statutory benefits (year-end bonus, insurance, vacation, vacation premium) * 5 additional days per year (4 paid personal days + 1 birthday leave) * TOTALPASS agreement (gym discounts) **Reference:** A 10-minute walk from the "Puente Zapata" Arch Monument, near Plaza Sendero Toluca
