**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** § Prepare pizza bases / discs. § Prepare tomato sauce. § Perform mise en place for your station. § Assist in preparing other stations if necessary. § Know the correct preparation method for all pizzas on the menu. § Know and apply decoration techniques for pizza assembly. § Know cooking times for food items. § Know techniques to assess food spoilage by smell and color. § Know and apply food storage techniques. § Avoid waste of surplus materials during pizza preparation. § Comply with personal hygiene requirements, proper care and wearing of uniforms by kitchen staff. § Comply with all restaurant regulations, policies, and procedures. § Ensure all kitchen areas and equipment remain clean, disinfected, and in good condition. § Assist in controlling and inventorying pizza area utensils and equipment. § Must know all pizza recipes thoroughly. § Conduct weekly and monthly inventories jointly with staff. § Prepare food according to the standardized recipe previously established. § Assist in other departmental activities as required by the supervisor. § Ensure pizza quality and presentation. § Arrive at the establishment punctually and as scheduled. Handle and manage complaints and claims if necessary.
