Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pizza Maker skilled in pizza and sauce preparation, as well as mise en place, with a strong emphasis on quality, hygiene, and compliance with restaurant regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in pizza and sauce preparation 2. In-depth knowledge of recipes and decoration techniques 3. Focus on quality, hygiene, and kitchen regulations **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** § Prepare pizza dough bases / discs. § Prepare tomato sauce. § Perform mise en place for their station. § Assist with preparation at other stations if required. § Know the correct preparation method for all menu pizzas. § Know and apply decoration techniques during pizza assembly. § Know cooking times for food items. § Know techniques to assess spoiled food by smell and color. § Know and apply proper food storage techniques. § Minimize waste of excess materials during pizza preparation. § Adhere to personal hygiene standards, proper care of uniforms, and grooming requirements for kitchen staff. § Comply with all restaurant regulations, policies, and procedures. § Ensure all kitchen areas and equipment remain clean, disinfected, and in good working condition. § Assist in controlling and inventorying pizza area utensils and equipment. § Have complete mastery of all pizza recipes. § Conduct weekly and monthly inventories jointly with other staff members. § Prepare food items strictly according to pre-established standard recipes. § Assist with other departmental activities as directed by the supervisor. § Guarantee pizza quality and presentation. § Arrive at the establishment punctually and as scheduled. Handle and manage customer complaints or claims if necessary.
