About the Job The Internal Communications \& Engagement role is responsible for creating strong, meaningful connections between the company and its colleagues. This position plays a key role in strengthening engagement, motivation, and loyalty by ensuring clear, consistent, and inspiring internal communication aligned with the history, culture, and values of the One\&Only brand. Through strategic communication initiatives, internal events, recognition programs, and culture\-driven projects, this role ensures that colleagues feel informed, connected, recognized, and proud to be part of One\&Only Palmilla—living the brand values both internally and externally. Job Description The Internal Communications \& Engagement supervisor is responsible for establishing communication channels, initiatives, and strategic messaging to attract, engage, and retain top talent, while fostering a strong sense of belonging among colleagues. This position also supports the development and sustainability of internal culture, ensuring that the brand values and One\&Only identity are consistently reflected across all internal touchpoints. Main Duties \& Responsibilities * Develop, coordinate, and execute internal communication materials for colleagues, including announcements, publications, campaigns, internal boards, and digital channels. * Ensure all internal communication boards and tools are up to date, functional, and in good condition, providing relevant information and access to services and benefits. * Create, supervise, and implement initiatives and projects that promote integration, engagement, and effective communication across departments. * Plan, organize, and execute internal events and celebrations (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Children’s Events, New Year’s Party, colleague promotions, anniversaries, etc.). * Support and facilitate internal communication across the organization to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information. * Coordinate and continuously update the company intranet (iKonnect), ensuring alignment with One\&Only brand standards, culture, and tone of voice. * Design, plan, and manage the recognition program “Colleague of the Month,” aligned with company values on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. * Coordinate the onboarding of new joiners, depending of the role, colleague, team leader, manager, ex\-com. * Manage photography, basic editing, and publication of internal events and activities. * Organize and oversee sports leagues and recreational activities (football, basketball, volleyball, golf, fishing) and other team\-building initiatives. * Coordinate the “Time to Connect” program to strengthen communication and engagement between the General Manager and colleagues. * Prepare, manage, and control budgets related to internal activities, events, and engagement initiatives. * Coordinate and manage colleague engagement and satisfaction surveys, supporting action plans to improve the work environment. * Promote and ensure the effective implementation of internal recognition programs at all levels of the resort. * Support onboarding and internal communications related to colleagues’ life events (welcomes, farewells, promotions, births, bereavements, and digital birthday cards). * Coordinate and facilitate training sessions on the Code of Ethics and image use guidelines for new employees. * Monitor and manage suggestion boxes at the Hotel and Golf Course, ensuring follow\-up and feedback when applicable. Requirements \& Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Batchelor administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field. * Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, human resources, or related roles, preferably within hospitality or luxury brands. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. * High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging communication campaigns and events. * Experience coordinating events, internal campaigns, and recognition programs. * Basic photography and content editing skills are desirable. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal communication platforms (intranet, digital signage, etc.). * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels. * Demonstrated ability to embody and promote company values and culture. * Flexibility to support events and activities outside of standard working hours when required.
