Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** Sustain \& Operations – Sustainment Engineer **Your Impact** As Sustainment Engineer \- App Debugging and Support your responsibilities would consist of:* Effectively manages a range of technical procedures, both new and established. Performs initial diagnosis and triage, and resolves issues independently whenever possible. * Collaborates with product owners to validate product runbooks, ensure accuracy of monitoring and KPI dashboards, confirm SLAs, and review customer notification procedures. * The ideal Sustainment Engineer is highly analytical, exercises sound judgment, and demonstrates the ability to connect insights across multiple workstreams. They work efficiently across cross\-functional teams to ensure the software consistently meets customer and end\-user expectations * The Sustainment Engineer adopts a pragmatic approach when collaborating with sustainment teams to resolve software incidents. They possess the ability to triangulate root causes and work effectively with both internal and external teams to achieve resolution and meet objectives * Enhances existing product functionality along with related automation, tooling, and dashboards. Delivers logical and maintainable solutions while improving logging and monitoring capabilities for faster and more accurate error detection * Takes a user\-centric approach by understanding how customers interact with systems to ensure monitoring accurately reflects their experience. May focus on product resource usage and the management of dependencies, including how they are tested. When necessary, develops automation to detect compliance requirements. Enhances code quality by adding comments and refactoring existing product code to improve readability, modularity, and ease of maintenance for future contributors. * Provides code reviews for SE peers. Shares best practices and knowledge of SE tools and troubleshooting techniques. Participates in a team on call rotation. * Technical leader (org level). Advises on the best approach for segmenting and orienting SE work to yield the greatest business value. * Creates AMS governance strategies based on service contract terms. Works closely with providers to ensure application stability and resiliency. * Accountable for the quality of managed service providers and their adherence to contract SLAs. * Analyzes application usage patterns and incident rates to identify optimization opportunities. Provides recommendations for revising contracts or incentive structures to reduce costs, particularly in areas with low usage or minimal incidents. * Proactively communicates with leadership by providing concise updates, including clear descriptions, estimated timelines, ownership of tasks, and identification of risks or blockers—along with a path to resolution. * Collaborates to achieve an appropriately unified set of SE procedures. * Articulates the best strategy for sustaining each product. Finds detractors to probe risks and challenges. Qualifications: **Who Are We Looking For?*** 3\-5 Years of experience as Sustain Engineer working preferrably for Supply Chain areas. * Hands\-on experience in Web development, multi\-layered architecture, ReactJS, Node.js, Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and RDBMS. * Can analyse a problem statement using relevant data. Able to research techniques or solutions and propose a viable approach. * Expertise in one or more software languages and design patterns. * Understands how to refactor code to make it more modular, scalable, easier to support. Knows how to break features down into components to be developed in parallel by other engineers. * Has ways to get more efficiency out of compute resources (without adversely impacting customers). * Able to constructively coach engineers \- via code reviews, design reviews, etc. Able to craft technical interview questions and independently evaluate candidate skills.
