(Ongoing monitoring) * Track issuance of short-term “soft certificates” and long-term “hard certificates.” * Conduct tariff classification processes jointly with the customs broker. * Review the General Import and Export Tax (TIGIE) rate according to operational needs. * Analyze and communicate implementation requirements in case of updates to treaty rules and certificates. * Verify integrity and accuracy / detect and correct discrepancies and inaccuracies, and manage changes to our customers’ Certificates of Origin. * Responsible for maintaining **Certificates of Origin** in Mexico, the United States, and Canada to avoid payment of duties in Mexico. * Negotiate with the customs broker for proper approval of Certificates of Origin.
