Position Summary: We are seeking a humanistic Emergency Physician for triage, identification of critical pathologies, and performance of emergency procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform triage and treat potentially life-threatening conditions 2. Perform emergency procedures and manage polytrauma patients 3. Coordinate follow-up and promote preventive measures Clínica de Valle y Polar Salud invites you to join our medical team as: **EMERGENCY PHYSICIAN** Requirements: * Medical Doctor degree (degree and license) * Specialty in Emergency Medicine (degree and license) * Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred) * Flexible availability for shifts (morning shift 07:00–14:00 and/or afternoon shift 13:00–20:00) * Humanistic approach toward patients Main Duties: * Perform triage to determine severity and priority of patient care. * Identify potentially life-threatening pathologies. * Manage pain, hemorrhage, shock, seizures, and cardiopulmonary arrest. * Perform procedures such as suturing, intubation, drainage, immobilization, and CPR. * Provide initial management of polytrauma patients. * Coordinate patient follow-up with nursing staff, paramedics, and other specialists. * Accurately document all care provided. * Prepare medico-legal reports when required. * Advise patients and their families regarding post-care instructions. * Promote preventive measures whenever possible.
