Focus on continuous improvement and professional ethics The **Accounting Assistant** is a key position for the company’s administrative and financial control. Its primary function is to support the accurate execution of accounting, administrative, and record-keeping processes, ensuring reliable, timely information aligned with internal policies. Its work directly impacts the organization’s order, transparency, and operational efficiency. **Main Responsibilities** * Recording and entering **accounting journal entries in CONTPAQi** (revenues, expenses, and general ledger). * Supporting the preparation and follow-up of **accounting, administrative, and operational reports**. * Assisting with **payroll processing**, incident tracking, and data reconciliation. * Organizing and safeguarding **accounting and administrative files** (physical and digital). * Supporting basic reconciliations * Providing general support to the accounting department to keep information updated and organized. * Handling petty cash * Data entry into internal software **Ideal Candidate Profile** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting. (Other degrees are not accepted)** * Experience in **basic accounting record-keeping** * Knowledge of **CONTPAQi Accounting software** (mandatory or highly desirable). * Basic–intermediate proficiency in **Excel** and Microsoft Office suite. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Proactive, responsible attitude with willingness to learn and grow professionally. * Strong written communication and interpersonal skills. **Key Competencies** * Responsibility and professional ethics. * **Confidential handling of information**. * Teamwork and collaboration across departments. * Focus on order, control, and continuous improvement. * Ability to track and comply with established processes.
