**Position: Maintenance Coordinator (Spinning Area)** **Location:** Lerma de Villada, Industrial Park **Position Type:** Full-time **Department:** Maintenance / Textile Production **Reports To:** Plant Management / Engineering **Position Overview** A textile industry company is seeking a **Maintenance Coordinator for the Spinning Area**, responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities for machinery, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and efficiency of production equipment. **Key Responsibilities** * Coordinate and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of spinning machinery (e.g., opening machines, carding machines, drawing frames, roving frames, open-end spinners, winding machines, among others). * Develop and monitor the maintenance schedule. * Lead the technical maintenance team (mechanics, electricians, and electromechanics). * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures in spinning equipment. * Ensure availability and proper use of spare parts and tools. * Manage work orders and maintenance records. * Coordinate technical shutdowns with production to minimize downtime. * Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and 5S practices in the area. * Monitor maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, equipment availability). * Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects. * Coordinate work with external vendors when necessary. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (graduated or final-year student). * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in the **textile spinning** area. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Spinning machinery. * Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. * Preventive maintenance programs. * Interpretation of technical drawings and manuals. * **Skills:** * Leadership and personnel management. * Organization and planning. * Working under pressure. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication. * **Availability:** Willingness to work rotating shifts and respond to emergencies as required. **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits and above-statutory benefits (as per company policy). * Job stability. * Opportunities for professional growth. * Excellent working environment.
