




Job Summary: The Sommelier is responsible for ensuring service quality, recommending and selling wine, achieving sales targets, controlling operational and administrative processes, and training staff. Ensure wine sales and supply in restaurants Join the El Palacio de Hierro family as a Sommelier, where you will be responsible for ensuring service quality and guest attention by creating exceptional experiences, recommending and selling wine, achieving established sales budgets, managing operational and administrative service processes, and providing ongoing training to Cantina staff. Main Responsibilities: • Support Waiters in wine recommendation and sales • Supervise operations from guest arrival, verifying orders, delivery, and confirming complete satisfaction with food, beverages, and service. • Supervise hygiene procedures for food and beverages. • Supervise that restaurant facility conditions meet requirements for guest service. • Act as responsible party in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager. • Maintain stable staffing by fostering a positive work environment • Ensure compliance with restaurant equipment, task, and service processes and controls. • Ensure wine sales by maintaining the wine catalog and inventory, including restaurant cellars. • Guarantee supply of the authorized wine catalog at the Unit.
