Job Purpose: Responsible for executing, reviewing, and controlling the company’s accounting, tax, and financial processes, ensuring compliance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF), tax obligations before the Tax Administration Service (SAT), as well as processes related to IMSS, INFONAVIT, CFDI, tax returns, reconciliations, accounting closings, and financial reporting. The CINIF is the Mexican organization responsible for researching, issuing, and disseminating NIF. Candidate Profile: • Basic or essential knowledge: Solid understanding of Mexican NIF, Mexican tax legislation, SAT, Income Tax (ISR), Value Added Tax (IVA), CFDI, electronic accounting, accounting closings, tax return filing, reconciliations, financial reporting, local taxes, employer obligations, ERP or accounting systems, and advanced Excel proficiency. • Behavioral competencies: Leadership (team direction and development, driving results, influence and negotiation, change management). Technical and Operational Management competencies: (Strategic planning and organization, decision-making and problem-solving, timely and simplified execution). Cross-functional competencies: (organizational knowledge, customer focus, effective communication, results orientation, teamwork). • Academic Qualification: Completed Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Accounting, Finance, or related fields. • Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting, tax, or compliance roles in Mexico.
