Identification of opportunities for new products and services The Teller is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of branch activities, including daily delivery of services involving customer interaction and transaction processing, in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to deliver high-quality customer service and support branch profitability by offering optimal solutions. Responsibilities: Provide service as the first point of contact for Citi customers and create a positive first impression through efficient and friendly customer service. Execute efficient and accurate banking transactions, including handling branch cash, processing incoming/outgoing cash deposits, and maintaining the branch vault cash balance. Identify cross-selling opportunities for new products and services based on customers’ financial goals. Educate customers about Citi’s digital and self-service offerings. Comply with bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure customer and bank asset security. Ensure all customer needs are met and customer issues/concerns are effectively managed; escalate issues to higher levels when necessary. Maintain sound knowledge of customer accounts and newly offered products and services. Qualifications: Preference for relevant prior experience. Proven experience in sales and customer service. Experience in cash handling. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
