**Who we are?** We are **Psicofarma**, a 100% Mexican pharmaceutical laboratory with more than 45 years of experience in the development and production of specialized medications for the central nervous system. We are currently in a phase of growth and innovation with the **start-up of a new injectables plant**, and we are seeking to add a **Continuous Improvement Engineer** to our team who will drive efficiency and process optimization from the beginning. The main objective of this position is to implement strategies, tools, and methodologies for continuous improvement that strengthen the plant's production and administrative processes, ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency from the outset. **Main Responsibilities** * Actively participate in the **start-up of the new injectables plant**, optimizing processes from their implementation. * **Design, implement, and monitor performance indicators (KPIs)** to measure efficiency, productivity, and quality. * Analyze root causes and execute effective corrective and preventive actions. * Coordinate improvement projects using **Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, and FMEA** methodologies. * Develop and implement continuous improvement plans in production, logistics, and administrative processes. * Standardize processes, documentation, and workflow procedures. * Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Validation to ensure overall efficiency. * Lead training sessions and workshops on continuous improvement tools. * Promote a culture of improvement and optimization at all organizational levels. **Requirements** * Degree in **Industrial, Chemical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.** * **Minimum of 2 years of experience in continuous improvement roles within the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industry (MANDATORY).** * Solid knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as: * **Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, VSM, Kaizen, PDCA, TPM, SMED.** * Proficiency in **Minitab, advanced Excel, Power BI, and modeling or simulation software.** * **Proven experience in designing, analyzing, and tracking KPIs.** * Strong analytical skills, results orientation, and project leadership capabilities. * Desirable knowledge in automation technologies and virtual reality (VR) for process simulation. **What we offer** * Direct employment with **Psicofarma**. * Monthly salary of $20,000.00 * **Benefits exceeding legal requirements.** * Savings fund. * Grocery vouchers. * Subsidized cafeteria. * Parking. * Pharmacy discounts. * Medical and psychological counseling. * Opportunities for professional growth in a **high-impact project** within the pharmaceutical industry.
