




**Job Description:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. The Engineer will be responsible for calculating, designing, drawing, installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for the pharmaceutical industry. **Responsibilities:** * Select HVAC equipment such as AHUs, exhaust units, fans, dust collectors, chillers, condensing units, cooling towers, pumps, and heat exchangers. * Select diffusers, grilles, terminal HEPA filters, and dust collection outlets. * Create design drawings: zoning by AHUs, by exhaust units, by air classification, room pressures, airflow directions, differential pressures, single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, duct routing, equipment locations, openings, diffusers, grilles, and installation details. * Prepare budgets for bids or new projects. * Perform unit price analysis. * Calculate airflow based on air changes, thermal load, and air balancing. * Conduct internal and external thermal load analysis. * Perform psychrometric calculations to select chilled/hot water coils, direct expansion systems, humidifiers, and dehumidifiers. * Maintain construction logs. * Produce as-built drawings. * Develop protocols and reports for ductwork and AHU/EXU leakage tests. * Develop protocols and reports for hydrostatic testing of chilled/hot water piping. * Develop protocols and reports for air balancing. * Develop protocols and reports for proper drainage testing of condensate pans. * Supervise proper fabrication, sealing, and cleaning of ducts. * Supervise correct field installation of ductwork. * Supervise proper insulation installation on ducts. * Supervise lifting and installation operations for HVAC equipment. * Supervise correct installation of diffusers, grilles, and terminal HEPA filters. * Supervise HVAC equipment commissioning. * Issue work permits and conduct risk assessments. * Conduct ductwork/equipment leak tests. * Perform air balancing. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience in HVAC system design and installation. * Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. * Proficiency with HVAC design and simulation software (AutoCAD, Revit, Trace 700, etc.). * Familiarity with HVAC codes and standards. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. * Willingness to travel occasionally. * Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry. **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits. * Professional development and continuous training opportunities.
