**Purpose of the Position** Program, set up, and optimize CNC machines to ensure precise and efficient manufacturing of critical parts. This role guarantees stability, quality, and continuous improvement in automated processes within an advanced manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs (G\-Code) for HAAS machines using SolidCAM. * Interpret drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications to define toolpaths. * Select cutting tools, machining parameters, and strategies. * Conduct program testing, adjustments, and validation prior to production. * Execute programs on machining centers and ensure their proper operation. * Resolve process deviations and propose technical improvements. * Document programs, parameters, and changes made. * Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to ensure process stability. **Position Requirements** * Technical degree in Machine Tools, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related field **and** 2 years of relevant experience; * **or** * Minimum 4 years of verifiable experience without a technical degree. * Experience programming CNC machines and working with SolidCAM. * Solid knowledge of G\-Code and machine setup. * Experience validating parts against specifications. * **Availability for evening shift (2 pm – 10 pm).** **Required Technical Knowledge** * CNC programming (G\-Code) on HAAS controls. * SolidCAM proficiency (minimum 1 year). * Advanced blueprint reading and GD\&T. * Tool selection and machining parameter determination. * Advanced metrology (micrometer, vernier caliper, etc.). * Materials: steels, aluminum, plastics. * Knowledge of conventional machines (lathe and milling machine). * Fundamentals of manufacturing and automated processes. **Key Competencies** · **Proactivity** Acts before problems arise and proposes programming and process improvements. · **Organization** Maintains order in programs, tools, and technical documentation. · **Attention to Detail** Detects minimal deviations in drawings, simulations, and parts. · **Communication** Clearly explains technical decisions and collaborates with engineering and quality departments. · **Teamwork** Coordinates with key departments to ensure process stability. · **Analytical Thinking** Solves technical problems logically and based on data. · **Operational Discipline** Adheres to standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
