At Chemours Company, we have an opportunity to develop you as a future Mechanical Supervisor: **Requirements:** * Student in final semester, recent graduate, or up to 2 years since completion of a Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering degree. * Availability of time to fulfill the development and training program. * English proficiency: 80% written and spoken. * Basic knowledge of personnel management and computer systems is desirable. * Prior work experience is not required. * Participation in professional internships, social service, or university projects related to industrial maintenance, equipment supervision, or manufacturing processes is desirable. * Interest in learning predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermography, thickness measurement), interpretation of drawings and diagrams, and basic concepts of rotating and stationary machinery. **Position Objective:** Contribute to the development and strengthening of the mechanical maintenance area by actively participating in the “Generation Next” training program, acquiring knowledge, technical skills, and leadership to support the planning, execution, and improvement of industrial maintenance processes. The Generation Next Mechanical Engineer will collaborate on projects, activities, and tasks focused on safety, reliability, productivity, and continuous improvement, preparing to assume future supervisory responsibilities aligned with Chemours’ values, standards, and objectives. **Job Functions:** * Actively participate in learning and competency development to support the planning, execution, and follow-up of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities on area equipment, under the supervision and guidance of the maintenance team. * Support communication, motivation, and training of personnel, contributing to strengthening teamwork and safety culture in operations. * Assist in applying procedures and best practices to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while promoting responsible resource use. * Collaborate on assigned projects and tasks to improve equipment reliability and performance, promoting continuous improvement and achievement of Chemours’ objectives. * Develop leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, preparing to assume supervisory responsibilities in the future.
