Job Summary: Designs and plans functional and cost-effective fiber optic networks to ensure optimal video, voice, and data services, guaranteeing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Verification of geospatial information for designs Plan and design functional and cost-effective fiber optic network installations across all company systems to deliver optimal video, voice, and data services, thereby ensuring customer satisfaction. **JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES** Digitize received and/or collected information from site surveys through the design platform (Bentley Comms and/or Connect Master software) to ensure complete information is available for consultation and use by designers. Compare information provided by survey technicians with data retrieved from various platforms (INEGI, Street View, SEDAC) to verify accuracy and prevent future design issues. Prepare required documents (DGN, DWG, KMZ, KML, BOM, PDF, printed drawings) and deliver them so that Branch Offices can begin construction project execution. Prepare and submit to the Manager/Technical Head all necessary files and documents required for municipal and CFE permit applications. **REQUIREMENTS** - Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Geomatic Engineering, or related field - 2 years’ experience in fiber optic network design, fiber optic construction, or site surveying - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read electrical drawings - Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) digitization software; fiber optic network design and/or implementation - Basic understanding of materials management - Geospatial tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo, etc.) - CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $14,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Do you have experience with QGIS or ArcGIS?
