




Position Summary: SIMCI seeks a Consulting Lead to spearhead a team of energy sector consultants, manage projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage projects and client relationships. Conduct technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies for projects, regulatory studies, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with energy sector regulations. Availability to work both on-site and remotely. Availability to travel to worksites and client meetings. Project-based work under tight deadlines. **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:** University degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field; Environmental Sciences or related disciplines. **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (preferred):** Master’s degree or specialization in project management, energy, environmental management, or related fields. Courses in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Training on SISOPA and energy sector regulatory frameworks. **GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:** Environmental legal framework (SEMARNAT, ASEA, CONAGUA). Hydrocarbons sector regulations (SENER, CRE, STPS). Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Monitoring Plans. Risk assessments, Emergency Response Plans, and accident prevention. Waste Management Plans (hazardous, special, and municipal waste). Management Systems (ISO) and SASISOPA. Single Environmental License, Operating License, and Annual Operating Permit. Interpretation of technical standards and engineering drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Professional use of GIS software. **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:** Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the hydrocarbons sector. Prior experience in consulting, coordination of regulatory studies, or technical roles within energy sector companies is preferred.
