GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Ensure that manufacturing equipment, critical services, utilities, laboratory equipment, and instruments are maintained in optimal operating condition, and guarantee the implementation and compliance with Pfizer's corporate policies and standards on Safety and Quality. RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Develop and implement the site maintenance strategy* Ensure the annual maintenance plan includes manufacturing, packaging, laboratory, and critical service equipment within its routines * Manage maintenance department work areas through current documentation to ensure compliance with Quality and EHS regulations * Ensure the use of CMMS (EAMS) as a tool for managing maintenance activities, obtaining data, generating KPIs, monitoring and controlling the performance of work teams, assets, and resources under responsibility * Manage operational strategies for: + The reliability area + The maintenance area for manufacturing and packaging + The critical systems area (Purified Water, HVAC, BMS, compressed air) and utilities (electrical power, potable water, natural gas, steam, cooling water) + The metrology area: calibrations and maintenance of process and quality control laboratory equipment and instruments + The automation area (hardware and software) 2\. Administer the corporate reliability program at the site* Implement and standardize a systematic maintenance management process according to Pfizer’s global standard (Reliability Program) * Collaborate with the global Engineering team to follow up on the designated strategy to meet the reliability program requirements; conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings * Manage maintenance indicators across all areas to measure performance and establish actions for continuous improvement in assigned areas * Ensure the spare parts warehouse maintains critical spare parts according to the reliability plan and maintenance plans managed in EAMS * Manage the acquisition and retention of maintenance manuals and all documentation and records under their responsibility in accordance with Pfizer policies 3\. Manage machinery and equipment safety plans* Ensure all site equipment has a machinery safety assessment and mitigation plans for identified risks * Manage the administration of all portable equipment on site to ensure compliance with applicable manufacturing regulations and safe operation 4\. Manage the budget for expenditures within the Maintenance Department* Annually prepare the expenditure budget based on performance analysis of responsible areas, aiming for maximum financial cost-benefit outcomes for site results * Control costs of assigned areas according to the established budget and ensure efficient use of funds * Establish a beneficial relationship between the company's capital investment in the department, maintenance activities, and reduced costs and losses due to unplanned downtime * Review and approve department purchase orders via the Ariba system to acquire necessary goods and services aligned with site and maintenance department strategy 5\. Provide technical expertise to manage critical systems and utilities with clear performance metrics, reduction goals, optimization, and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements* Manage maintenance and reliability for the following systems: + Purified Water + HVAC + BMS (Building Management System) + Compressed Air + Electrical + Potable Water + Cooling Water + Steam and Condensates * Represent the Maintenance Department during internal and external audits. Follow up and close audit observations and resulting actions, ensuring continuity and sustainability of these actions * Be responsible for enforcing Pfizer corporate policies at all times: Blue Book, Open Door, Discrimination and Sexual Harassment. Ensure daily active presence in GMP areas to observe work practices and activities within their role and responsibilities. Note: Any compliance deviation must be investigated according to the Standard Operating Procedure.* Be available to direct reports for real-time escalation of any concerns or required support. * Observe, investigate, and report actions or behaviors that could negatively impact the desired outcome of a GMP process or activity. * Lead and provide ongoing support for improvement proposals when applicable. * Set an example in supporting a culture of compliance. * Review the content of all Leader Led Conversations and annually conduct two “Leader Led Conversations” with teams to foster a culture supporting compliance with procedures, including proper data handling. * Be vigilant about potential actions or behaviors that could result in GMP or Data Integrity principle violations. Requirements 1\. Education: Engineering degree 2\. Experience: Minimum 5 years in previous roles as Maintenance Manager and Capital Project Management 3\. Languages: Advanced English 4\. Proficiency with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) 5\. Quality and safety management systems 6\.
