




"Involves package handling within the operation, including manual handling, sorting, picking, and completing any related administrative tasks or paperwork. Job Overview: Under general supervision, performs the following activities: * Safely loads and unloads aircraft and company vehicles. * Performs size and weight checks on packages and boxes. Orders packages. * Ensures the use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx's policies, procedures, standards, rules, and safety practices. * Receives and sorts air and ground shipments. * Ensures FedEx and customer property security. * Cleans, washes, and performs minor maintenance on company vehicles. * Operates company vehicles safely and securely. * Picks up and delivers packages on a limited basis and during emergencies as required. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Level: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Valid driver’s license and good driving record. * Basic English preferred. Minimum Experience: * Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver any individual package weighing up to 68 kg with proper equipment. * Availability to work variable shifts. * General vehicle maintenance and experience with hand and power tools preferred. * Must successfully complete the Reading, Map Reading, Sorting, and Mathematics sections of the Basic Skills Test. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Planning and organizational skills. * Problem-solving skills. * Teamwork.
