**Job Description** We are seeking an **Accounts Receivable Analyst** with proven experience in **billing and collections from health insurance companies**, integrated within a hospital environment. The individual will be responsible for managing, reconciling, and promptly recovering revenues from medical services provided to patients with major medical insurance, ensuring proper compilation and submission of patient files, as well as timely follow-up on payments, clarifications, and recoveries. This role is key to maintaining the hospital’s financial health and ensuring a professional and efficient relationship with insurance companies and internal departments. **Responsibilities** * Compile, review, and validate insured patient records to ensure compliance with each insurer's requirements. * Submit invoices, reports, and documentation to insurance companies accurately and on time. * Perform timely follow-up on payments, clarifications, and claims. * Manage claim denials, requests for additional information, and resubmission of files. * Conduct monthly reconciliations with insurers and internal accounting. * Monitor accounts receivable aging and prioritize collections based on due dates. * Coordinate with internal departments (Admissions, Cashier, Nursing, Medical Records, Billing) to obtain necessary information. * Prepare collection, recovery, and overdue accounts reports. * Verify deductibles, co-insurance, authorized amounts, and medical fee schedules. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable financial regulations.
