Become a maker of possible with us! **Job Responsibilities: (Functions, Tasks and/or Key Authorities)** • Supporting the department in various business-related tasks. • Calibrating measurement, control, and test instruments. • Completing calibration records and forms. • Reviewing equipment identifications in the area. • Sending equipment for external calibration. • Inspecting, measuring, and dispositioning gauges. • Preparing traveler cards. • Measuring samples requested for qualification, validation, and project engineering. • Handling measurement and test equipment. • Preparing measurement and test reports. • Entering and managing information in the calibration database. • Supporting metrology technicians and/or AC engineers. • Training new technicians. • Inventorying calibration, measurement, and test equipment. • Assisting and supporting external calibration personnel. • Selecting and requisitioning calibration, measurement, and test equipment. • Supporting the AC engineer. • Approving/reviewing applicable record forms. • Attending Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 13485, World-Class Manufacturing, and other job-related training courses. • Performing preventive maintenance on quality equipment. • Conducting tests arising from ongoing validations and/or projects. • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or immediate manager. **Education and Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent; preferably an engineering student. At least 3 months of experience working in the plant, preferred. **Knowledge and Skills:** Proficiency with computer software packages (Word, Excel, Minitab). Knowledge and use of basic measurement tools. Ability to interpret tolerances and perform unit conversions.
