The foundry operator must ensure continuous supply of raw materials to the melters, preventing interruptions in the production process. They are responsible for carrying out the melting process of fats, butters, and liquors as required by plant operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the order and cleanliness established under the 5S system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with safety, quality, and food safety standards, safeguarding both personal integrity and that of colleagues by following established procedures.
* Execute the melting of fats, butters, and liquors according to the melting schedule and operational procedures.
* Understand the correct operation and functionality of melters, including conditioning, melting, draining, and transfer to tanks.
* Monitor levels in melted product tanks and perform additions in accordance with authorized percentages.
* Accurately complete traceability records, control points, and reports in SAP.
* Clean and maintain the work area, tools, equipment, sieves, and magnets in good condition, identifying deviations and reporting them to Quality and the shift leader.
* Achieve the daily target set for the foundry area.
* Attend training sessions punctually and follow up on 5S practices, GMP, and other internal guidelines.
* Effectively communicate any process delay exceeding 15 minutes.
* Actively participate in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining team boards in alignment with company objectives.
