**Asset Engineer** **Your tasks and responsibilities:** * Execute corrective maintenance activities, support preventive maintenance tasks, and lead root cause failure analyses using defined tools (RCA, A3), including detection and participation in solving PLC failures (Siemens S7, ELAU, Allen Bradley, Schneider …), while coordinating operational staff (4\-9\). * Analyze maintenance indicators (MTTR \& MTBF) and, based on their analysis (RCA, 80\-20\), determine training needs (DNC) for line personnel in troubleshooting and technical adjustments, as well as recommend technical improvements to equipment and preventive maintenance plans for assigned equipment and electronic/electrical systems. * Identify and implement improvements to electrical and electronic systems and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce losses. * Interpret, analyze, and modify electrical and control schematics for rapid fault resolution. * Identify forced equipment deterioration and hard-to-reach areas, and develop solutions to eliminate them. * Support Autonomous Maintenance activities (LILA Standard) to ensure proper execution and implement local and global improvement strategies (TPM, MDS, Criticality Matrix). * Actively participate in the execution and commissioning of investment projects related to technological upgrades of automation and control systems for assigned machinery and equipment. * Understand the operation of assigned equipment and perform pharmaceutical records as defined in the corresponding technical SOPs (Technical logbook). * Manage the procurement of spare parts and services required to resolve defects and/or failures in assigned equipment, including coordination with national and international suppliers. **Who you are:** * Degree: Bachelor's or Engineering in Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Control, or Robotics, or 3 years of experience in a similar role with a technical degree, CECIQ (Bayer). * Experience: 5 years in maintenance and/or operation of automated equipment (pharmaceutical or food industry). 3 years in maintenance of automated equipment. 2 years using continuous improvement tools (RCA, 80\-20, PSS). * Language: Technical English (40% spoken, 70% written). * Specialized Knowledge: Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, PC proficiency, PLCs (basic Step 7, basic Elau), use of instrumentation (Oscilloscope, Multimeter), knowledge of machine tools and welding applications (electric, argon), use of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge). * Operation and repair experience with tablet presses (Fette/Killian), sealers (Siebler), blister machines (Uhlmann), cartoners (IWK), case packers (Pester), or similar. * Openness to adapt to future trends and needs. * Constructive conflict resolution, flexible availability, and willingness to work rotating shifts.
