At Swissport, we are guided by our core values of Show You Care, Do the Right Thing, and Win as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals who align with these values to join our team in various locations around the world. **Job Summary** Assist and support all passengers, providing service during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation. **Your Responsibilities:** Appearance and punctuality* Report punctually for your assigned duties * Request assignments from your supervisor * Coordinate and assist in the transfer of equipment and paperwork Review of flight-related documentation and information* Verify gate assignments, first-class vouchers, and other additional information provided by the supervisor or airline representative. * Pay close attention to the pre-flight briefing. Counter opening* Arrive at counters according to the time required by the client prior to aircraft arrival. * Ensure counters are clean and ready to begin check-in. * Confirm that necessary paperwork is available to start check-in. * When applicable, display announcements and/or information required by the airline and aviation authority at the counter. Check-in* Review passenger documentation in accordance with airline policies. * Assign seats using automated systems or manually. * Weigh luggage and, if excess is detected, apply the appropriate fee collection procedure according to airline policy. * Issue boarding passes and baggage tags. * Complete the entire check-in process efficiently. Ticketing* Collect payments for tickets, excess baggage, and other applicable fees according to airline regulations. * Safeguard revenue from ticket sales and other collections related to the airline. Disembarkation* Verify availability of information regarding disembarkation gates and passengers with special needs before moving to the final waiting area. * Coordinate delivery of wheelchairs, strollers, and other passenger-owned equipment traveling in the bulk compartment. * Announce completion of disembarkation via radio. Boarding* Verify that required paperwork and equipment are available from the client and airline for boarding operations. * Begin boarding at the time specified by the client, making applicable announcements. * Apply applicable security procedures. * Keep relevant parties informed about boarding progress and other relevant information. Flight closure* Close out the flight within the timeframe established by the client. * Inform staff in lounges about any last-minute passengers. * Apply security procedures for passengers who do not board. * Generate required reports and paperwork to be delivered to the supervisor or airline representative.
