DESCRIPTION **Job Description: Structural Drafter** **Job Objective:** Develop **detailed design and technical documentation** for steel and concrete structures, as well as their associated **supports**, ensuring accurate interpretation of engineering requirements and compliance with project codes, specifications, and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare **detailed drawings** for steel and concrete structures (foundations, pedestals, slabs, beams, columns, frames, and racks). * Develop and detail **structural supports** for equipment, piping, cable trays, ducts, and other industrial systems. * Interpret drawings, structural calculation reports, and design criteria for correct application in drafting. * Perform **2D and 3D modeling** of structures and supports using specialized software (AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit, or others). * Prepare **fabrication and erection drawings**, including construction details, cuts, sections, and material take-offs where applicable. * Coordinate with **civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical** disciplines to ensure design compatibility and integration. * Review and update drawings according to **engineering, client, and construction feedback**. * Assist in identifying and resolving **interferences** between structural elements and other disciplines. * Maintain control and organization of technical documentation in accordance with project procedures. **Requirements and Profile:** * Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in **Technical Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture**, or related field. * Experience in **drafting and detailing steel and concrete structures** for industrial or infrastructure projects. * Proficiency in drafting and modeling software such as **AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit, Civil 3D** (as required by the project). * Basic knowledge of **structural codes and standards** (ACI, AISC, local regulations). * Ability to interpret **structural calculation reports and technical specifications**. * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively and under pressure. **Key Competencies:** * Technical accuracy and quality focus. * Documentation organization and control. * Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams. * Proactivity and commitment to continuous learning.
