This position will contribute to data analysis, report automation, organizational communication management, and tracking of training plans—ensuring accurate information dissemination and a consistent focus on continuous improvement and industrial process efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct on-floor manufacturing reviews and track evidence for GMS system audits. * Support problem resolution using continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa), focused on waste elimination and process optimization. * Develop, update, and automate reports and dashboards in Power BI for operational KPI analysis and decision-making. * Manage and maintain communications related to GMS and operational initiatives across multiple channels (Slack, SharePoint, and email), ensuring accurate information dissemination across all organizational levels. * Administer SharePoint sites and digital repositories, ensuring information organization, timeliness, and accessibility across the facility. * Track the training plan and competency traceability of personnel, supporting report generation and controls. * Collaborate with operational and innovation teams on industrial process digitalization and continuous improvement. **Requirements:** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate academic program (semester or quarter); graduation expected **Summer 2027 or later** * Intermediate level of English proficiency * Valid optional insurance coverage **Field of Study:** Industrial Engineering, Software Development, Business Management, or related discipline. **Desired Experience and Skills:** * Intermediate–Advanced Office suite, Power BI, effective communication, proactive mindset, and continuous improvement orientation. * SharePoint and Power Automate experience preferred "GM does not provide support or sponsorship for legal documentation procedures related to immigration.
