Lead the accounting team and promote professional development **NISA ENERGY, a company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking:** **GENERAL ACCOUNTANT** Objective: To lead, coordinate, and supervise all accounting and financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (NIF) and tax obligations. Provide timely and accurate financial information for strategic decision-making. ***Experience: 6 to 8 years in accounting*** ***At least 3 to 5 years in managerial or executive positions*** ***Experience leading teams.*** (Verifiable) FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare basic monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the companies. * Ensure tax compliance in accordance with current laws and regulations. * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Carry out monthly and annual accounting closing processes. * Design and optimize accounting policies and procedures. * Coordinate with other departments such as treasury, legal, procurement, and operations to ensure proper accounting treatment. * Lead the accounting team and promote their professional development. * Perform bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations. * Identify and correct accounting discrepancies. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE * Local and international accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP) * Current tax legislation * Accounting ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Contpaq, etc.) * Advanced Excel and BI tools desirable. Work Location: Polanco Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Statutory Benefits Corporate Parking Life Insurance Lic.
