Technical Pattern Maker with PROVEN EXPERIENCE in developing patterns FROM SCRATCH and modifications, capable of delivering guaranteed base patterns for sample and production development, possessing knowledge and skills to analyze and create requested design patterns, as well as expertise in garment construction and assembly, base development, and grading scales. **Duties and responsibilities**: \- Interpret the designer’s intent to create concepts, prototypes, and counter-sample patterns, ensuring that methods and documentation align consistently with manufacturing methods and processes. \- Understand all patterns and how they interrelate to complete a garment. \- Collaborate with sample makers to help identify areas requiring quality improvements, and support necessary changes during the Product Creation process. \- Create and maintain technical specifications. \- Measure finished garments according to specifications. \- Fabric testing to determine shrinkage and fabric behavior. \- Establish and maintain effective communication with designers and the production department. \- Collaborate with designers and product developers to establish standard fit, size, and product consistency by product type/category and end-use. \- Collaborate with designers and product developers to establish and document product construction standards and illustrated technical specifications for all products. \- Report on prototype and sample progress, ensuring adherence to product development and creation timelines. \- Develop and maintain samples to precise measurement specifications. \- Excellent attention to detail. \- Contribute to the pattern library. \- Maintain computerized pattern libraries, ensuring changes are shared and clearly communicated to the production department. \- Provide raw material yield estimates to the production department during prototype development. \- Participate in training programs for new hires. \- Possess strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster cooperation.
