A leading construction company is seeking; Minor Maintenance Resident **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and supervise daily minor maintenance activities (pothole patching, ditch cleaning, profiling, repair of minor drainage components, basic signage, among others). * Ensure work is properly executed according to plans, technical specifications, and current regulations (e.g. MTC, AASHTO, etc.). * Coordinate with field personnel (foremen, operators, technicians) for the execution of tasks. * Verify the proper use of assigned equipment, tools, and materials. * Prepare daily and weekly physical progress reports, photographic reports, resource tracking, and field records. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at the worksite. * Identify and report incidents, deterioration, or unforeseen events affecting road usability. * Coordinate with warehouse and logistics for supply of necessary materials and supplies for the section. * Participate in technical meetings and inspection visits with the client or external supervision. **Job Requirements:** **Education:** * Degree in Civil Engineering, Road Engineering, or Technician in Civil Construction, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in road infrastructure maintenance or preservation, particularly in minor maintenance projects. * Experience as a site resident, technical assistant, or field supervisor (desirable). **Technical Knowledge:** * Execution of routine and minor activities on roads. * Reading and interpretation of plans and technical specifications. * Cost control and measurement of quantities. * Technical regulations for road maintenance. * Office (Word, Excel) and technical reporting software. Basic AutoCAD (desirable). **Skills:** * Organization and leadership of field teams. * Effective communication with superiors and workers. * Ability to solve technical problems on-site. * Ability to work under pressure and in rural or remote areas.
